About Andria
I’ve always been drawn to health and wellness since I can remember. As a kid, I brewed up my own concoctions of dandelion tea and juniper berry tinctures in my backyard. I’ve always been drawn to creating beautiful, healthy food. It turned into a challenge for me to take any meal and make it not just healthy but really yummy. If it didn’t taste good, why eat it?
But, I realized nature produces some of the simplest best-tasting food without any of our help. So keeping it simple and delicious could be easy even while raising 5 kids. With my desire to learn more in 2015, I dove deeper into the health and wellness world, taking a year-long certification with the Institute for Integrative Nutrition; this gave me so much depth of information and resources to understand holistic and integrative nutrition better. In 2016 my husband was diagnosed with Cancer, and I was determined to learn even more about what diet and nutrition could do in healing the body.
I read hundreds of books and listened to hundreds of podcasts which has furthered my understanding and given me a deeper love for how much we can do to heal our bodies. I truly believe that many of the changes we made in our diet and life gave my husband several more years than he would have had. After my husband passed in 2020, I came to realize that each person’s journey is unique, and there is no one diet fits all or one protocol that is the answer. I realized that many of the tools I learned were what gave me the strength to get through the 4 years of his cancer treatment, but I also felt like there was more to learn.
For the last 3 years, I have continued my love for preparing fresh organic food and learned a lot more about how mindset, meditation, and nourishing not just my body but my mind, body, and soul to create a holistic health that goes beyond just “eating healthy.”
